Position Summary

The Insurance Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, developing relationships with prospects, educating clients about insurance solutions, and achieving individual sales goals while delivering outstanding customer experience.

This is a results-driven position for someone who enjoys meeting people, creating opportunities, and being rewarded for performance.

Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

• Generate new insurance opportunities through prospecting, referrals, networking, and outbound calls.
• Build relationships with business owners and individuals.
• Conduct insurance needs analysis.
• Present customized insurance solutions.
• Prepare and explain insurance quotes.
• Close new business consistently.
• Cross-sell additional insurance products.
• Request referrals from satisfied customers.

Customer Service

• Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale.
• Follow up with prospects until a final decision is made.
• Maintain long-term client relationships.
• Assist clients throughout the application process.
• Answer insurance coverage questions clearly and professionally.

Administrative Duties

• Maintain accurate CRM records.
• Track daily sales activities.
• Submit applications accurately.
• Follow agency procedures and compliance standards.
• Meet documentation requirements.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred

• Property & Casualty Insurance License (or willingness to obtain).
• Previous sales experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Experience in outside sales, retail sales, banking, or customer service.
