THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY: The Human Resources Manager will oversee a broad range of HR functions within a manufacturing or operational environment. This role partners with leadership and employees to support a positive workplace, maintain consistent policies and practices, and align people strategies with organizational objectives. Lead day-to-day human resources activities, including employee relations, attendance, workplace policies, disciplinary matters, safety initiatives, and employee engagement. Partner with site and organizational leadership to establish workforce priorities, operational objectives, and plans that support business performance. Develop and coordinate recruiting efforts for both hourly and professional positions, including candidate selection, hiring processes, onboarding, and new employee orientation. Build employee development and training programs that support organizational needs in areas such as safety, quality, productivity, performance, and customer service. Manage performance management processes and support organizational development initiatives, succession planning, and employee growth. Administer employee compensation and benefit programs while ensuring policies and practices are applied consistently across the organization. Maintain compliance with applicable employment laws, company policies, and internal procedures while keeping HR records, personnel documentation, attendance information, and related files accurate and current. Coordinate workplace safety, workers' compensation, risk management, and related loss-prevention activities in partnership with operational leadership. Support a constructive employee environment through effective communication, employee involvement, and proactive strategies for maintaining positive workplace relations.
