Duties

Help

• Performs a variety of routine manual tasks in a kitchen or dining area following established procedures.
• Sets up glasses, silverware, dishes, trays, napkins, condiments and cold menu items such as salads, desserts, breads, and cold beverages on a serving line or tables.
• Removes dishes and trays from tables after meals. Washes tables and counters. Stores clean dishes, glasses and silverware. Vacuums and shampoos carpets; sweeps and mops kitchen floors. Cleans windows and washes walls.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

Ability to understand and follow oral instructions and do simple tasks that are easy to learn.

SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE : Must have knowledge of basic food handling techniques, personal hygiene standards and safe work procedures. Must have the ability to perform routine manual tasks involving few steps, and be able to read and understand written material. Must have knowledge of basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.

Initial Cut-Off Date : Wednesday, February 4th, 2026 (Applications must be received by 11:59 PM EST). PCS Costs

• Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.

Allowances and Differentials

• This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.

• Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
