Full-time position available with the Water Department, Consumer Services Division located at 4800 E. 63rd St. Salary Range: $20.48-$30.71/hour Normal Work Days/Hours:Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Application Deadline Date March 4, 2024

Responsibilities

• Facilitates efficient and economical delivery of services related to Training and Development; quality assessment and training related to contact center, dispatch, revenue protection, and finance.
• Applies personal initiative and independent judgment while allowing considerable latitude for flexibility in methods used, subject only to restrictions as set down by city policies.
• Performs a wide variety of research activities and being knowledgeable of KC Water's standard city services and training resources. W
• Serves as Backup Trainer for Contact Center, Dispatch, Revenue Protection.
• Supports training efforts, covers classes as needed, and supports bridge timeframe.
• Reviews content and materials.
• Creates assessment tools for training needs and training outcomes
• Assesses organization needs for training, reviews requests, and creates and analyzes need assessments per department.
• Develops assessments to create and facilitate trainings.
• Delivers training modules.
• Creates and collects surveys post-trainings
• Provides backup for quality assessment.
• Completes monthly audits for customer service calls.
• Tracks quality assessment ant training data for KPIs.

Qualifications

REQUIRES an accredited Bachelor's degree; OR an equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience to include professional experience in the development and/or operation of administrative systems, programs, policies and practice. Preference given to applicants with training experience, leadership and training development, andpresenting/teaching experience.

Unless otherwise specified, an accredited degree must be obtained from a college or university listed with the U.S. Department of Education and recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education.

For positions with a salary grade of EX6 or higher that require an accredited degree, qualifying professional experience must be obtained AFTER the accredited degree is obtained.

Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal history/background check is required for all positions. Some positions require a post offer drug screen and/or physical.

If appointed, non-residents must obtain residency inside Kansas City, Missouri's city limits within nine months.
