Dental Sales Executive: U500 (Hybrid; MD/DC/VA)

Aligned with a team of Cigna Healthcare Sales Professionals, the Dental Sales Executive (DSE) serves as the market leader for dental and vision products, driving growth through strategic partnerships and innovative solutions.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a comprehensive dental and vision growth strategy within assigned markets.Achieve or exceed membership growth targets through effective prospecting and broker engagement.Manage the end-to-end sales process, including RFP responses, financial presentations, and implementation oversight.Collaborate with matrix partners to design winning presale strategies and deliver competitive proposals.Provide market insights to influence product development and pricing strategies.Lead broker development initiatives and maintain a strong presence in key verticals such as Government, Education, and Healthcare.Deliver training and coaching to internal sales teams on dental product positioning and competitive differentiation.Maintain expert knowledge of Cigna Dental products through ongoing education and participation in business reviews.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.5+ years of dental benefits sales experience; proven healthcare sales track record.Licensed Life & Health producer with ability to travel frequently.Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to work independently in complex environments.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Preferred:Managed dental sales experience.Experience influencing cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.Financial acumen and membership growth orientation.If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.At The Cigna Group, you’ll enjoy a comprehensive range of benefits, with a focus on supporting your whole health.
