Position Overview
The Accounting & Administrative Assistant will support day-to-day financial processes and general office operations. This role begins at 2-3 days per week with the potential to grow based on organizational needs and individual strengths. The position is temporary through January, with the possibility of becoming temp-to-hire for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting Support
• Enter invoices and bills into QuickBooks
• Submit invoices for payment and process outgoing payments
• Create and track invoices
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Collaborate with the organization's accounting vendor (Four Lane)
• Optional based on experience: assist with payroll, timekeeping, and retirement account administration (John Hancock)
Administrative Support
• General office tasks such as filing and document organization
• Light administrative support as needed
• Optional: assist with social media or other office projects depending on skill set
Workload
• Approximately 40-50 invoices per month, with increased volume during annual conference season
• Support for the organization's large annual conference held each July

Schedule
• Part-time, 2-3 days per week
• Hours fall between:
• Monday-Wednesday: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
• Thursday: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
• No Fridays
• Schedule may shift occasionally based on events or staff availability

• Required: QuickBooks experience
