Customer Service Specialist

Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Customer Service Specialist to join their client's dynamic team in San Mateo, CA. This contract-to-hire position offers an opportunity to work with a leading technology company that serves scientific, industrial, medical, and manufacturing markets. The ideal candidate will have a passion for problem-solving, building relationships, and learning complex products and applications.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders from entry through delivery.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries.
• Coordinate with sales, operations, production, shipping, finance, and technical teams.
• Support service requests, repairs, and returns.
• Maintain accurate customer and order information in Salesforce.
• Provide proactive updates and exceptional customer service.
• Help identify opportunities to improve processes and customer experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, customer support, or order management experience.
• Experience with order entry and order processing.
• Salesforce experience required.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable learning technical products and terminology.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in manufacturing, technology, semiconductor, medical device, or industrial environments.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) experience.
• RMA, repair, service, or warranty support experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Bachelor's degree.

Required Work Hours

Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Benefits

The position offers a competitive pay range of $25.00 - $28.00 per hour.

The role is a full-time, contract-to-hire position based entirely onsite in San Mateo, CA.
