Kforce has a client in Foster City, CA that is seeking a Contingent Workforce Specialist for a hybrid role.Summary:Are you passionate about technical recruiting, workforce strategy, and building strong partnerships across IT organizations? We're seeking an IT Requisition Specialist to serve as a trusted advisor and operational leader supporting contingent workforce programs across Information Technology and Technical Operations teams. In this role, you'll manage the full lifecycle of technical contract talent, partner closely with hiring managers and suppliers, and help ensure critical technology teams have access to the specialized talent they need to succeed.This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on critical technology initiatives by helping build and support a world-class contingent workforce program. You'll partner with innovative technical teams, influence workforce strategy, and play a key role in delivering top talent across a fast-paced, evolving environment.Responsibilities:

• Serve as the dedicated contingent workforce specialist supporting IT, Software Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Technical Operations teams
• Partner closely with IT leaders to develop contractor sourcing strategies, address skill gaps, and provide market insights on technical talent and rate benchmarks
• Manage the full lifecycle of contingent workers, from requisition intake through onboarding, engagement management, and offboarding
• Maintain accurate contractor and requisition data across Vendor Management Systems (VMS) and internal HR technology platforms
• Engage and manage technical staffing suppliers to source qualified candidates for specialized technology roles

Skills

• 4+ years of experience supporting contingent workforce programs as an MSP Program Specialist, IT Staffing Recruiter, Technical Recruiter, or Account Manager within technology-focused environments
• Proven success managing recruiting efforts for complex IT, enterprise software, infrastructure, cybersecurity, engineering, or other highly specialized technical talent
• Strong understanding of technology organizations, technical skill sets, market trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent availability across a variety of IT disciplines
• Deep knowledge of contingent workforce programs, worker classification guidelines (W-2, 1099, C2C), compliance requirements, co-employment considerations, and risk mitigation best practices
• Experience building and managing staffing supplier partnerships, including performance management, vendor accountability, and rate negotiations
• Hands-on experience utilizing Vendor Management Systems (VMS) such as SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, Coupa, or similar platforms; VMS administration experience is highly preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
