Discipleship Coordinator

Big Win : A servant leader who provides care, training and support for all Liquid’s Discipleship systems to help people receive spiritual care and counseling within our community and to take their next steps on Liquid’s Pathway.

The Discipleship Coordinator serves under the Discipleship Pastor on the Discipleship Team. A full-time position, the schedule is generally Sunday-Thursday, including some evenings for a total of 40 hours per week. This position is Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Responsibilities

• Support Groups – Responsible for the support group training for various support group leaders, as well as supporting Regeneration groups and leader dinner and training.

• Marriage Mentoring and Weddings - Responsible for the care and coordination of Liquid’s marriage mentoring program including care for Marriage Coordinators, intake meetings with engaged couples, pairing couples and mentors, brainstorming care and engagement strategies for mentors and working with the Care Pastor for Marriage Support Group timing. Brainstorming with the Care Pastor on initiatives to care for marriage mentors and continue to expand the marriage ministry reach through events.

• Discipleship Budgeting - Assists the Discipleship Pastor with budget development and oversight, overseeing and managing Nexonia reports for the Discipleship team.

• Discipleship Support - Support the Discipleship Pastor in all areas of Liquid’s Discipleship pillar including Spiritual Care System, Associate Pastor System, Life Events System, New Believer System and Baptism System. Provide care and communication to Discipleship central and campus volunteer staff and leaders.

• Discipleship Team Support Support- Support the Discipleship Pastor through normal administrative tasks including: scheduling and coordinating events and meetings, submitting creative requests, maintaining department supplies and inventory and overseeing the purchase of necessary items. Prepare any materials needed for transport and inform the receiving campus team. Provide support during department events such as Camp Rock, Rally, and Women’s/Men’s/Marriage Events etc. Assist team as a Rock Administrator to create forms, manage responses, send mail merges, etc.

Qualifications

• Education - Bachelor’s Degree required

• Administratively gifted (King) first and Relationally gifted (Priest)

• Relational Ability - a “people” person who works well with staff & volunteers of varying personality

types.

• Proven administrative capabilities with the ability to manage multiple projects/responsibilities at

one time.

• Personal Character - needs to be a person with a high level of integrity and personal character.

• “Can do” Attitude – dependable & willing to do “whatever it takes” to make their campus effective.

• Team Player - ability to work collaboratively with the Liquid Church staff on a daily basis.

• Understands and supports the vision/mission of Liquid Church

Pay: $58,000 - $65,000 per year
