Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor: Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor: Required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from approved vendor: Required
• At least two years recent experience in the field: Required

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
• Coordinates care with other disciplines, employing critical thinking and independent judgment.
• Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues, developing and implementing care plans.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide patient care in a safe, healing environment.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Provides learning opportunities for patients and team members.
