Schedule: Monday-Friday | 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Work Location: On-site (In-Office Position)

Our Customer Service (Track & Trace) team serves as the communication hub between customers, carriers, and our operations team. As a Customer Service Representative (Track & Trace), you’ll monitor shipments from pickup through delivery, provide proactive updates, communicate with carriers and drivers, and help resolve issues along the way.

Please Note: This is a full-time, in-office position located in South Barrington, Illinois . Remote and hybrid work are not available. This position follows a consistent Monday-Friday schedule from 12:00 AM to 8:00 PM, providing predictable hours with no weekends required.

What You'll Do

• Monitor shipments from pickup through final delivery
\n
• Proactively communicate shipment updates to customers
\n
• Contact carriers and drivers to obtain accurate shipment updates and identify potential delays
\n
• Respond professionally to customer phone calls and emails
\n
• Document shipment activity and customer communications within company systems
\n
• Identify delays or service issues and coordinate timely resolutions
\n
• Collaborate with Operations, Logistics Account Managers, and other internal departments to ensure successful deliveries
\n
• Prioritize multiple active shipments while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
\n
• Build positive relationships with customers, carriers, and internal teams
\n
• Assist with additional operational and administrative duties as needed
\n

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience
\n
• Transportation, logistics, dispatch, or freight brokerage experience is helpful—but not required
\n
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, or transportation management software is a plus
\n
• High school diploma or equivalent
\n
