Case Reviewer

Under the Mandatory court review of guardianships, D.C. Code § 21-2045.01, within the three (3) year period after the appointment of a guardian and withing every three (3) year period thereafter in which a guardian remains appointed, the court shall appoint a case reviewer, who shall be a social worker licensed in the District of Columbia, to investigate the continued need for the guardian. The incumbent will be paid for services rendered. No benefits will be given. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited institution Active DC clinical social work license (LICSW) in good standing Minimum three (3) years of post‑graduate professional experience in social work Licensing must be in good standing, and candidate must demonstrate knowledge of guardianship laws, the needs of aging, disable and incapacitated populations. Experience in utilizing clinical social work or capacity assessments tools to make a professional judgement and recommendations for action. Experience meeting with individuals and assuring compliance with statutory requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
