Backend & Data Engineer (Fully Remote)

Develop, maintain, and support backend and data-processing systems using Python. Work with core processing systems and large-scale geospatial imagery. Process imagery captured from drones/UAVs, fixed-wing aircraft, and/or high-resolution satellites. Build and maintain reliable data-processing workflows and pipelines. Requirements: Strong professional experience in software engineering, backend engineering, and/or data engineering. Strong proficiency in Python. Hands-on professional experience with GIS and geospatial data processing. Practical experience with tools like GDAL, Agisoft Metashape, or Pix4D. Nice to Have: Strong hands-on experience with AWS. Experience building or supporting cloud-based data-processing systems. Experience optimizing data pipelines for performance and scalability. Our client is a U.S.-based technology company working with large-scale geospatial data and imagery. They focus on processing drone, aircraft, and satellite imagery for various applications.
