What You Will Do Maintain accurate employee records, assist in digitizing and organizing departmental records, and complete weekly HR reports. Receive, review, and process all non-licensed employee requests for leaves of absence. Process unemployment claims and assist with unemployment appeals. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other documentation as requested. Assist with administration of employee benefits programs and oversee the benefits email. Facilitate annual open enrollment and benefit enrollment for new employees. Other duties as assigned. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Two or more years of Human Resources experience required; experience in a school district or public sector environment preferred. Experience working with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Excel. Basic knowledge of employee benefits administration, leave administration, and Human Resources practices. Working knowledge of employment laws including FMLA, ADA, and applicable employment regulations. Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgement. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team environment. Schedule Monday - Friday 8 hours per day Salary $70,000 - $78,000 This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month position, working 261 days per year.
