Talent Acquisition Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Source and identify qualified candidates to support the top of the recruitment funnel across multiple roles
• Conduct initial candidate outreach and engagement through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and targeted research
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to align on sourcing strategies and candidate profiles
• Screen candidates at a high level to assess basic qualifications, interest, and fit before passing along to recruiters
• Track sourcing activity and candidate engagement using applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools
• Represent and promote the company's employer brand through professional outreach and networking

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, databases, referrals, and targeted searches
• Conduct initial outreach to passive and active candidates via email, LinkedIn messaging, and phone
• Perform high-level candidate screens to confirm qualifications, availability, and interest
• Maintain and update candidate pipelines within the applicant tracking system
• Collaborate with recruiters to prioritize roles and adjust sourcing strategies as needed
• Track sourcing metrics and activity to ensure consistent top-of-funnel candidate flow
• Support employer branding efforts through professional networking and candidate engagement

Preferred Experience and Attributes

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• 2–4 years of sourcing, recruiting coordination, or talent acquisition experience
• Strong experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and research
• Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools
• Familiarity with Workday or other HRIS platforms is a plus
• Prior experience sourcing for facilities, maintenance, or technical roles such as electricians, mechanics, or engineers is preferred
• Strong communication and outreach skills with the ability to engage passive candidates
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple sourcing pipelines simultaneously
