Talent Acquisition Specialist
Key Responsibilities
- Source and identify qualified candidates to support the top of the recruitment funnel across multiple roles
- Conduct initial candidate outreach and engagement through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and targeted research
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to align on sourcing strategies and candidate profiles
- Screen candidates at a high level to assess basic qualifications, interest, and fit before passing along to recruiters
- Track sourcing activity and candidate engagement using applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools
- Represent and promote the company's employer brand through professional outreach and networking
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, databases, referrals, and targeted searches
- Conduct initial outreach to passive and active candidates via email, LinkedIn messaging, and phone
- Perform high-level candidate screens to confirm qualifications, availability, and interest
- Maintain and update candidate pipelines within the applicant tracking system
- Collaborate with recruiters to prioritize roles and adjust sourcing strategies as needed
- Track sourcing metrics and activity to ensure consistent top-of-funnel candidate flow
- Support employer branding efforts through professional networking and candidate engagement
Preferred Experience and Attributes
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- 2–4 years of sourcing, recruiting coordination, or talent acquisition experience
- Strong experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and research
- Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools
- Familiarity with Workday or other HRIS platforms is a plus
- Prior experience sourcing for facilities, maintenance, or technical roles such as electricians, mechanics, or engineers is preferred
- Strong communication and outreach skills with the ability to engage passive candidates
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple sourcing pipelines simultaneously
