Primary Responsibilities

· Test software vendors' paper tax documents and payment vouchers for barcodes, content, placement, and scanlines

· Test software vendors' electronic file submissions for standards, accuracy, and completeness

· Provide software vendors with feedback by documenting errors discovered during testing

· Review electronic formatted files to ensure data elements are present

· Test and review web forms for posting to the Department's website

Entry Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business Management, Mathematics, Computer Science or Graphic Design

Qualifications

· Experience in the testing process to verify information meets the defined standards

· Experience documenting and tracking errors

· Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Notepad) and basic computer skills

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Experience with reviewing and testing electronic file formats and data

· Experience with software design applications for multi-media forms such as Adobe Professional, Illustrator, InDesign, and JavaScript

· Experience of working knowledge of XML

· Experience using repositories to store information

Looking for candidates that have more experience in the following areas:

• Testing (Forms and Electronic)
• JavaScript
• XML
• The Adobe Suite of products (Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Pro, Photoshop)
