Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois RN license
• Must meet Illinois state-specific requirements before starting
• Experience with trach care, suctioning, and respiratory support preferred
• Previous school-based nursing experience considered a plus
• Availability for an onsite panel interview (required immediately)
• No additional training provided; must be confident in required skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 nursing care for a student onsite, including trach and respiratory treatments
• Support daily toileting routines and encourage student independence
• Provide mealtime supervision (cutting food, safe eating practices)
• Accompany the student during bus transport to and from school
• Maintain detailed and accurate health records
