Title: Sr. Tax Manager - Top 15 CPA Firm in Central Florida
Location: Orlando, FL 32810
Salary: $125,000 - $160,000 + Bonus

Founded in 1990, we are a well-established public accounting firm with approximately 40 employees based in Orlando, Florida. We serve privately held companies, family owned businesses, nonprofit organizations, charter schools, and high-net-worth individuals across Florida and the United States. Our services include audit, tax, consulting, valuation, and advisory work across industries such as real estate, construction, medical services, hospitality, manufacturing, nonprofit, and retail.

We are seeking a Sr. Tax Manager to lead complex tax engagements, manage client relationships, and guide staff development while supporting firm growth and maintaining our strong reputation in the Central Florida market.

What You Will Be Doing

• Manage and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and nonprofits (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 990)
• Lead tax planning, research, and advisory projects for closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals
• Oversee engagement workflow, deadlines, and quality control for assigned tax engagements
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and service delivery
• Mentor, train, and review the work of staff and senior accountants
• Identify advisory opportunities and support firm growth initiatives

What You Need for This Position

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field; CPA required
• 6+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience
• Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
• Experience managing multiple engagements and supervising staff
• Preferred: background in real estate, construction, nonprofit, or closely held business tax
• Preferred: experience with tax planning for high-net-worth individuals
