Work Environment This role operates within a remote work framework, specializing in community health. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals in a community health clinic setting that values flexibility, teamwork, and a client-centered approach. Working hours will include some evenings and weekends, allowing you to accommodate the diverse schedules of our clients. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth psychosocial assessments to understand clients' mental health issues, strengths, and support systems. Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based methods, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-focused therapy. Design personalized treatment plans that outline specific therapeutic goals and interventions, with regular reviews to assess progress. Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers to provide cohesive and integrated care. Provide crisis intervention and perform risk assessments to ensure client safety and wellbeing. Maintain thorough clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements. Lead psychoeducation classes, support groups, and group therapy sessions to foster peer support and shared learning among clients. Patient Population / Client Focus Your expertise will cater to a diverse population, including individuals, couples, and families facing mental health challenges. Qualifications A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution. Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential for effective client interaction and collaboration with peers. Preferred Experience At least two years of experience working in a mental health or outpatient clinic setting. Demonstrated proficiency in leading therapy sessions and managing diverse client scenarios. Experience working within a community health framework is highly desirable.
