Database AdminJob Location: Austin, TXJob Type: ContractExperience/Skills: Education: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university; may substitute full-time information technology, database administration, computer system design and analysis, computer programming, or closely related experience for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Experience: Seven years of full-time information technology, database administration, computer system design, and analysis, or closely related experience.Knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of computer databases, programming, and systems design; computer operations, systems, and proceduresSolid understanding of database design principals.Minimum 5 years' experience with PostgreSQL (Opensource), IBM DB2 and Scripting languages above.Minimum 2 years' experience with Erwin data modeling tool.Solid understanding of query execution plans.Good SQL scripts skill including SPs, PSQL scripting.
