Phlebotomist
$17.75 - $26 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Bronx, New York patient service center. The role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens, managing patient data, and delivering customer service in a Monday-Friday schedule with rotating Saturday shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections across all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other analyses
- Accurately enter patient information and maintain specimen logs
- Process billing information and collect patient payments
- Provide exceptional customer service and complete administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
Compensation: $17.75 - $26.00 per hour
