The Systems Engineering and Integration Team is responsible for the oversight, development, and coordination of Reentry Body (RB) development programs. The selected individual will oversee the technical development of a Reentry Body test flight while coordinating across multiple organizations including various design disciplines (mechanical, electrical, RF), flight sciences, FBM Missile Engineering, contracts, Finance, as well as the Navy Customer. The selected individual will coordinate a single or multiple projects and be responsible for the technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, and risk analysis, and be the overall owner of the project(s).The information below reflects the standard job description for this position: Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.Basic QualificationsDemonstrated knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycleDemonstrated knowledge executing the different areas of systems engineering to include requriements generation, and verification.Excellent, demonstrated communication, presentation, and people skills are required as this position requires frequent briefings to senior leadership as well as the Navy CustomerExperience in successfully leading projects/programs to meet customer requirements while meeting program objectives and scheduleStrong proficiency with MS Office Suite of software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Active Secret Clearance; US Citizenship requiredAbility to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearanceDesired SkillsExperience with working with multi-functional teamsValidated knowledge of Systems Engineering disciplines, to include Model Based Systems EngineeringValidated experience successfully leading multiple efforts concurrentlyConfirmed implementation of Systems Engineering Practices, Risk Management principles, Cost Savings initiatives, and Program PlanningHigh level of accountabilityAbility to produce high quality presentation materialKnowledge of and experience with Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) ProgramsPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $ - $ At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
