The Tax Senior Associate plays a vital role within a public accounting firm, specializing in comprehensive tax services for clients. This position involves preparing accurate tax returns, providing expert client consultations, and developing strategic tax planning solutions. Working collaboratively within a small team, the Tax Senior Associate ensures compliance with current regulations and contributes to regulatory research to stay ahead of tax law changes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Consult with clients to clarify tax issues and provide expert advice
- Develop strategic tax planning initiatives tailored to client needs
- Collaborate effectively within a team to deliver quality services and assist in training junior team members
- Conduct research on tax regulations and updates to maintain compliance
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in tax accounting
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
