FIRE ALARM SERVICE TECHNICIAN (New York, NY)
Starting Pay: $20/hr. (non-prevailing) and $58.84/hr. (prevailing assignments)
JOB DUTIES:
- Perform inspections and service on existing fire alarm systems across NYC
- Complete inspection work in accordance with NYC prevailing wage guidelines
- Travel between job sites and maintain efficient routing
- Respond to occasional after-hours emergency service calls
- Maintain compliance with safety and inspection standards
REQUIREMENTS:
- FDNY S98 Certificate
- S12 or S13 Certificates preferred
- Minimum 1 year of fire alarm or related field experience
- Ability to navigate NYC job sites effectively
- Availability for Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
- Ability to respond to occasional emergency service calls
