Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field.
• 3+ years of web application development experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a diverse team environment.
• Experience developing well-designed, testable, and efficient code using software engineering best practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft.NET (C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET) and Visual Studio.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, and XML.
• Experience with SQL Server database development and advanced SQL querying.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating external data sources.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server, IIS, and PowerShell.
• Experience with GitHub and version control best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience using Jira for Agile project tracking and issue management.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with higher education applications and/or supporting multi-cultural students and staff
• Java server-side experience: Servlets, JSP, or Grails
• React and GraphQL proficiency
• Familiarity with Node.js, TaskRunner tools, Knockout, JSON, NuGet
• API testing/debugging tools: Postman, Insomnia, Fiddler (or similar)
• Azure ecosystem: Azure, Azure SQL, Azure AD, and MOSS
• Ellucian stack: Colleague Self-Service, Colleague Web API, Ellucian Experience
• SharePoint development: workflows, object model, web parts; SharePoint Designer, Office 365, Power Automate
• Exposure to Agile methods (Scrum/Kanban/XP/Lean) and mobile apps development

Job Description:

The Full Stack Web Developer supports, maintains, and enhances the College's web applications. This role is responsible for troubleshooting issues, building new features, developing new software solutions, improving business processes, and ensuring software quality. Work includes coding, testing, documentation, and managing web-related work orders in a multi-cultural, diverse environment.

Compensation: $28/hr to $32/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
