This role requires deep expertise in Golang backenddevelopment, modern frontend frameworks (React), API design (REST and GraphQL), and containerized deployments on AWS.As a senior contributor, you will lead technical design decisions, collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, and help drive best practices across the software development lifecycle. You will work in a fast-paced environment where quality, scalability, and reliability are critical to success.Your ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance full stack applications using Golang and ReactArchitect and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs that are secure, maintainable, and well-documentedCollaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutionsLead development efforts for new initiatives and provide technical guidance on existing applicationsBuild and deploy applications using container technologies (Docker) and orchestrators such as Kubernetes and AWS ECSManage CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and environment configurationsEnsure applications meet enterprise standards for security, performance, reliability, and scalabilityTroubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications across the full stackParticipate in code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and promoting best engineering practicesProduce and maintain technical documentation to support long-term maintainabilityWork with source control and collaboration tools such as GitHub and Azure DevOpsWho we are looking for7+ years of professional software development experience4+ years of hands-on experience developing production systems using GolangProven experience building and maintaining full stack applications at an enterprise scaleBackend & API DevelopmentStrong expertise in Golang for backend services and microservicesHands-on experience designing and developing RESTful and GraphQL APIsSolid understanding of API security, authentication, and authorization patternsExperience with relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)Frontend DevelopmentStrong experience developing modern web applications using ReactProficiency with TypeScript, HTML, and CSSFamiliarity with modern frontend frameworks such as Next.js or equivalentCloud & DevOpsStrong experience with AWS, including services such as ECS, EKS, EC2, S3, and RDSHands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, AWS ECS)Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automationSoftware Engineering PracticesDeep understanding of software design patterns, clean architecture, and best coding practicesStrong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)What we offer At Magna, you can expect an engaging and dynamic environment where you can help to develop industry-leading automotive technologies.
