Position Details: Full-Time, Live-Out

Location: North Tarrytown, NY

Days: Monday–Friday

Hours: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM

Compensation: $35–$45 per hour, paid via W2 (on the books)

Additional Benefits: Paid federal holidays, vacation while the family is away, and use of a family vehicle during working hours

A private family in North Tarrytown, NY is seeking a dependable and caring Family/Household Assistant to support the day-to-day needs of the home. The role includes household organization, errands, laundry, light housekeeping, and after-school support and transportation for two teenage daughters.

Main Work Duties:

• Maintain the overall organization and day-to-day upkeep of the home.
• Perform light housekeeping and household resets as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and common areas.
• Keep the girls' bedrooms and closets neat and organized.
• Assist with general household organization projects.
• Handle household laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and putting items away.
• Iron clothing and linens as needed.
• Help maintain organized closets and wardrobes.
• Grocery shopping and household supply runs.
• Pharmacy pickups.
• Trips to FedEx and the post office.
• Drop off and pick up dry cleaning.
• Complete additional household errands as needed.
• Attend to the needs of the family's two daughters, ages 13 and 16, after school.
• Pick up the children when needed.
• Drive them to activities, appointments, and other scheduled commitments.
• Help ensure their afternoon schedules run smoothly.
• Provide appropriate supervision until the parents return home.
• A family vehicle will be provided for all work-related driving.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Family Assistant, Household Assistant, Personal Assistant, or in a similar private household role preferred.
• Experience working with teenagers is preferred.
• Comfortable performing light housekeeping, laundry, ironing, and household organization.
• Comfortable running errands independently.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable driving children to activities and appointments.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong professional references.
