Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg travel assignment in Pocatello, Idaho. Start date: 07/20/2026. Duration: Weeks (unspecified). Shift: 3x12-hour days. Weekly pay: $1,475–$1,552. No guaranteed hours. This is a hospital setting on a 48-bed Med‑Surg/Telemetry unit caring for adults and geriatrics, with Epic charting used for documentation.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults and geriatrics on a Med‑Surg/Telemetry unit, including post‑operative and acute care.
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient status, perform ongoing assessments, and support rapid response as needed.
- Administer medications and IV therapy, manage IV lines, wound and drain care, and assist with post‑op recovery and isolation precautions.
- Document care in Epic with accurate, timely charting; coordinate with an interdisciplinary team (IV team, PT, Respiratory, Pharmacy, Social Work, Interpreter services).
- Support discharge planning and patient/family education; assist with procedures and protocols as appropriate (e.g., CBI, feeding tubes, basic ABG interpretation, insulin/anticoagulation considerations).
- Maintain safety and quality through adherence to infection control measures and unit policies.

Requirements
- Current RN license in Idaho or a compact state with license in hand at submittal
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years RN experience; travel experience required
- Med‑Surg and Telemetry experience; Epic charting experience
- Trauma Level II experience preferred
- Ability to work 3x12-hour shifts; flexible to meet unit needs
