Registered Nurse (RN) - Respiratory Therapy - Travel

Overview

Registered Nurse – Med Surg travel assignment in Pocatello, Idaho. Start date: 07/20/2026. Duration: Weeks (unspecified). Shift: 3x12‑hour days. Weekly pay: $1,475–$1,552. No guaranteed hours. This is a hospital setting on a 48‑bed Med‑Surg/Telemetry unit caring for adults and geriatrics, with Epic charting used for documentation.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care for adults and geriatrics on a Med‑Surg/Telemetry unit, including post‑operative and acute care.

Monitor and respond to changes in patient status, perform ongoing assessments, and support rapid response as needed.

Administer medications and IV therapy, manage IV lines, wound and drain care, and assist with post‑op recovery and isolation precautions.

Document care in Epic with accurate, timely charting; coordinate with an interdisciplinary team (IV team, PT, Respiratory, Pharmacy, Social Work, Interpreter services).

Support discharge planning and patient/family education; assist with procedures and protocols as appropriate (e.g., CBI, feeding tubes, basic ABG interpretation, insulin/anticoagulation considerations).

Maintain safety and quality through adherence to infection control measures and unit policies.

Requirements

Current RN license in Idaho or a compact state with license in hand at submittal.

BLS certification.

Minimum 2 years RN experience; travel experience required.

Med‑Surg and Telemetry experience; Epic charting experience.

Trauma Level II experience preferred.

Ability to work 3x12‑hour shifts; flexible to meet unit needs.

Benefits and Support
