Production Operator Mebane, NC 27302 Employment Type: Contract to Perm Job Number: 57477223 Pay Rate: $18.00 / hour Job Title: Production Association Location: Mebane, NC Shift: 1st M-F 5am-1pm Pay: $16-$18 Job Summary: Responsible for loading, unloading, and positioning heat exchanger components onto jigs and fixtures used in the manufacturing and brazing processes. Supports production operations by ensuring materials are properly prepared, inspected, and moved throughout the facility while maintaining quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Load and unload metal components onto jigs, racks, and fixtures for production and brazing operations. Position parts accurately according to production specifications and work instructions. Remove finished components from jigs and transport materials to the next stage of production. Perform visual inspections to identify defects, damage, or quality concerns. Monitor production flow and maintain continuous operation of assigned work areas. Utilize hand tools, gauges, and measuring devices to verify product quality. Maintain accurate production counts and complete required documentation. Assist machine operators and production teams as needed to meet daily production goals. Move materials and finished products using pallet jacks or other material handling equipment. Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or quality issues to supervisors. Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing guidelines. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S practices. Work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting productivity and quality expectations. Qualifications: Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Manufacturing or production experience preferred. Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures. Experience in metal manufacturing or assembly environments is a plus.
