Ecommerce Specialist

E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Specialist DuBois Book Store is seeking a full-time E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Specialist to manage and improve our University of Cincinnati and Miami University online stores. This is primarily an e-commerce position—not simply a social-media role. The successful candidate will be responsible for placing merchandise online, maintaining accurate product information, improving product presentation and website merchandising, and helping increase online sales. The position will also assist with email marketing, social media, product photography, and digital promotions. Responsibilities include: Adding and maintaining online products Writing product titles and descriptions Managing photos, categories, brands, variants, and sizing Merchandising homepages and seasonal collections Coordinating new-product launches with buyers and store personnel Monitoring online sales and website performance Improving SEO, product discoverability, and customer experience Creating email and social-media content Helping resolve website and online-order issues The ideal candidate has e-commerce or digital-retail experience, excellent attention to detail, strong writing skills, and the ability to combine creative merchandising with organized catalog management. Experience with Lightspeed, Ecwid, Shopify, or another e-commerce platform is preferred. Compensation: $50,000–$55,000 annually, depending on experience.
