Recovery Specialist - Per Diem

Observes and supervises clients and unit; conducts 30‑minute client well‑being checks. Searches client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as otherwise directed by supervisor. Completes all necessary checklists, shift documentation and recordkeeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures. Maintains a professional and therapeutic approach when interacting with clients. Participates with staff to implement program objectives and philosophy. Facilitates and documents daily groups. Attends supervision, trainings and meetings as required. Obtains/assesses vital signs (Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, Respirations, Temperatures). Other duties as instructed by supervisor or as needed. Experience and Skills High school diploma or higher educational level or general education degree (GED). Experience working with substance use population is preferred. Ability to display initiative, responsibility, accountability, and professionalism. Demonstrates commitment working with an addicted population, enjoys working as part of a treatment team.
