DescriptionUNDERSTANDING The Lead Software Developer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software solutions to enhance our manufacturing processes and overall business operations. We know that companies with a strong culture & a higher purpose perform better in the long run. • Own It• Hustle and Refuse to Settle• Love People• Act for the Greater Good• Find a waySCOPE• Reports to the CIO• Collaborates with most other departments to support the businessRESPONSIBILITIES Lead the development and implementation of software solutions to support manufacturing operations.Design, develop, and maintain APis to integrate various systems and applications.Utilize JavaScript and SQL to build and optimize web applications and databases.Develop and customize ERP systems to meet the specific needs of our manufacturing processes.Implement new systems and conduct UAT.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions. Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.Other duties as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Must be able to speak, read and write in English. Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on manufacturing.Strong proficiency in JavaScript and SQL Extensive experience with ERP customization and implementationExtensive experience with API design and development. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team of developers.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and collaboration skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with Microsoft 365 Copilot is a plus.EDUCATIONMust have a High School Diploma or a G.E.D.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field .RequirementsEmployee Type: Full Time
