DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Implement lesson plans consistent with the teacher’s guidelines, and school curriculum. Maintain an orderly classroom environment and provide a positive learning experience. Familiarize yourself with emergency protocols, such as fire drills and lockdowns. Adhere to all school policies and procedures. Carry out lesson plan instructions from the classroom teacher, and/or create lesson plans in the absence of a prepared lesson. Create and maintain discipline and classroom control that fosters a safe and productive learning environment in accordance with school policies. Other assignments as assigned by building administrators. We are interested in candidates who are invested in the achievement, equity, and access of all learners in and beyond the classroom. Candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences are strongly encouraged to apply. Substitute Rates Day to day: Educational Assistant or Teacher (no degree or certification) – $110 per day. Teacher (bachelor’s degree or certified) – $120 per day. 31–59 days in the same assignment:

• 130 per day without a DESE license.
• 140 per day with a DESE license.

60–89 days in the same assignment:

• 150 per day without a DESE license.
• 160 per day with a DESE license.

90 or more days in the same assignment: $299.51 per day (must have a DESE license). Position Details Position Type: Part‑time Salary: $110 to $120 per day Job Requirements Experience working with children. At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred. Associate degree preferred. Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
