Restaurant Manager

Location: Stone Harbor, NJ

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at a busy, fast-paced food service establishment in beautiful Stone Harbor, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional who enjoys leading a team, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of employees to deliver outstanding service and quality
• Create a positive, energetic, and team-oriented work environment
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and service standards
• Manage scheduling, staffing, training, and employee performance
• Monitor labor costs, food costs, inventory, waste, and overall profitability
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and company standards
• Handle guest concerns professionally and work to create a memorable customer experience
• Assist with ordering, receiving, inventory control, and vendor relationships
• Maintain strong communication with ownership and leadership
• Lead by example and remain actively involved in daily restaurant operations
• Help drive sales, improve efficiency, and identify opportunities for continued growth

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience preferred
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Experience working in a high-volume or fast-paced restaurant environment
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, labor management, and cost control
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to train, motivate, and hold team members accountable
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working hands-on and leading from the floor
• Food safety certification preferred
• Seasonal or resort-area restaurant experience is a plus
