Randstad is recruiting for a Recruiter to join a leading manufacturing company in the Memphis area. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity for a driven professional ready to manage full-cycle recruitment and contribute to key HR initiatives. salary: $25 - $28 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 9 AM - 6 PM

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, schedule, interview, and assess qualified applicants to fill open positions efficiently.
• Establish and maintain relationships with local colleges, technical schools, and community organizations to generate candidate pipelines for technical and operational roles.
• Administer background checks, coordinate candidate assessments, and verify onboarding documentation in compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
• Enter candidate and employee data into HRIS databases, track key recruitment metrics, and update hiring records.
• Coordinate and represent the company at job fairs, career expos, and community recruiting events.
• Assist with the internal job posting system by writing notices, verifying candidate eligibility, and coordinating interviews with department supervisors.
• Safeguard confidential employee files and support the HR Manager with day-to-day administrative procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent specialized training/experience in Human Resources or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant human resources or recruitment experience, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of state and federal labor laws, FMLA, and recruitment compliance standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience using HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
