Shift Length: 10 hours (depending on clinic needs)


Job Description:
This role involves float coverage between two clinical sites in Wilmington, NC, providing Adult Acute Care. The therapist will work with Varian linacs and Siemens CT simulators, performing treatments such as IMRT, SBRT, and other advanced radiotherapy techniques. You will collaborate closely with MDs and RNs, with no requirement to independently perform CT simulations, dose calculations, or block cutting. The position offers flexibility with shift schedules, including options for 4x10-hour shifts. The role requires floating between clinics, with no orientation or dimensions training needed upon start.


Certifications Required:

• BLS
• ARRT RT Certification

Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years of clinical radiation therapy experience
• Experience in adult acute care settings preferred

Other Details:

• Ratios: 1:5
• Clinic will accept 13-week contracts only
• No call or weekend shifts required
• No float requirement outside designated clinics, but floating between sites is expected
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Additional Notes:
Therapists will always be paired with at least one other therapist and may have the option for 4-10 hour shifts. The role involves working at multiple sites with varying equipment but consistent support from MDs and RNs.
