Investment Banking Associate - Technology

Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Investment Banking Associate to join our Technology team in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on M&A, debt, equity and equity‑linked transactions, including valuations, memorandums, analyses, due diligence, drafting, structuring and executing transactions, and client relationship management. Responsibilities Prepare valuations and write memorandums for company sale assignments and private placements. Conduct M&A analysis and participate in due diligence and drafting sessions for public offerings. Structure and execute transactions and serve as backup for relationships with key clients. Act as the primary contact for selected clients and begin to assume new business responsibilities. Qualifications 1–2 years of Investment Banking experience at the associate level or equivalent work experience. Prior work experience involving financial analysis or transaction execution. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop rapport with existing and potential clients. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Highly motivated team player with the ability to learn in a fast‑paced, challenging environment. Degree in finance, business, management or related field. Compensation The anticipated starting salary range is $175,000 - $200,000 per year, dependent on experience, location and other factors. The position is eligible for annual incentive compensation and the total compensation will be competitive with the market.
