At Regions, the BlackArch Investment Banking Associate plays a crucial role in developing and strengthening BlackArch’s client relationships and driving the transaction process. BlackArch, a wholly owned subsidiary of Regions Bank, is a Southeast based, middle‑market M&A advisory firm whose professionals have closed more than 400 transactions across a broad range of industries, with enterprise values ranging from $50 million to over $1 billion. The firm has built significant sector knowledge in key industries and has organized select industry practice groups to meet its clients’ needs in the areas of: Aerospace & Defense Automotive Aftermarket Building Products & Infrastructure Business Services Consumer Products & Services Distribution Energy & Industrial Services Food & Beverage Industrial Products Life Science & Healthcare Primary Responsibilities Evaluates and analyzes client needs, including the formulation and positioning of a client’s distinctive qualities with a focus on competitive differentiation Drafts documentation and marketing materials for transactions and constructs financial models Maintains client communication, often directly with senior management team members Participates in transaction structuring and execution efforts with high levels of responsibility and accountability Mentors and supervises analysts Identifies and develops business opportunities This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. This position is incentive eligible. Requirements Bachelor’s degree Series 79 and 63 licenses, or ability to obtain within three (3) months of employment Preferences Master of Business Administration (MBA) Two (2) years of relevant experience Skills and Competencies Ability to think strategically Strong analytical and quantitative skills Strong sales abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position. Job Range Target Minimum: $172,660.37 USD 50th Percentile: $211,039.50 USD Incentive Pay Plans This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
