Job TitleDirects and provides nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and is directly responsible to the Director of Nursing for quality patient care provided to patients in the Facility.Job Description:Responsible for the day-to-day operations of Lead Mental Health Technicians, Mental Health Technicians and Nurses to enhance the quality of the patient care. Provides sufficient staffing and schedules personnel according to census and acuity. Directs and implements the Infection Control and Employee Health Programs. Master’s preferred.Experience: A minimum of three (3) years experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility preferred.Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing.Additional Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications.
