Salary: $72,000/yearly with 20% annual bonus (nearly 14k - achievable)

Key Responsibilities

\n

Daily Operations

\n

· Lead daily manufacturing operations to ensure production schedules, quality standards, and operational objectives are achieved.

\n

· Train and coach supervisors and management to recognize opportunities and understand their impact on operations.

\n

· Partner with plant leadership team to resolve operational issues and improve efficiencies

\n

· Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth plant operations.

\n

· Participate in daily operational meetings and communicate production priorities.

\n

· Identify opportunities for continuous improvement through operational analysis and process optimization and implement solutions

\n

· Monitor production performance against KPIs for safety, yield, cost, and delivery, initiating corrective action when gaps emerge.

\n

· Implement and enforce safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment

\n

\n

Compliance & Food Safety

\n

· Enforce SQF, HACCP, GMP, and applicable USDA and FDA regulatory requirements throughout all plant functions.

\n

· Assist with internal and external regulatory audits.

\n

Product & Inventory Analysis

\n

· Maintain product master data, Bills of Materials (BOMs), item records, and inventory attributes within NetSuite.

\n

· Analyze inventory trends, production data, purchasing activity, and product usage to improve inventory accuracy and operational performance.

\n

· Develop and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for leadership.

\n

· Generate reports and provide analytical support for Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain.

\n

· Identify process improvement opportunities through data analysis and operational reporting.

\n

· Monitor inventory KPIs and recommend corrective actions to improve inventory control.

\n

Inventory Management

\n

· Maintain inventory accuracy across all warehouse and production locations.

\n

· Develop, coordinate, and oversee cycle count programs.

\n

· Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.

\n

· Support physical inventories and month-end/year-end inventory reconciliation.

\n

· Monitor inventory movement throughout production and warehouse operations.

\n

· Ensure inventory transactions are completed accurately and timely.

\n

Warehouse & Inventory Control

\n

· Oversee inventory control processes across warehouse and production operations.

\n

· Coordinate daily inventory activities and material movement.

\n

· Support FIFO inventory practices and warehouse organization.

\n

· Improve inventory visibility and material traceability.

\n

\n

Leadership & Collaboration

\n

· Supervise, train, and coach shift supervisors and production line staff; manage performance evaluations and staffing needs.

\n

· Train employees on inventory control procedures, NetSuite, and VistaTrac.

\n

· Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).

\n

· Collaborate with cross-functional departments to improve operational performance.

\n

· Support implementation of new systems, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives

\n

· Work closely with quality assurance (QA), maintenance, and supply chain teams to resolve operational bottleneck

\n

\n

Qualifications

\n

· Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

\n

· 5years in progressively responsible manufacturing roles, with several years in supervisory or operations leadership roles

\n

· Solid understanding of OSHA, USDA, and food safety regulations.

\n

· Proficiency in MS Office, ERP software, and understanding of plant operations

\n

· Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills; ability to inspire and manage supervisors and production teams.

\n

· Ability to troubleshoot operational issues, make decisions, and implement corrective actions.

\n

· Detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and monitoring performance metrics

\n
