Associate Attorney - Commercial Litigation

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a full-time Associate Attorney in San Francisco, California, offering a hybrid work arrangement. This role involves handling complex commercial litigation matters and provides an opportunity to take on significant responsibility across all phases of litigation within a collaborative legal environment. Duties Manage litigation matters across areas such as general liability, professional liability, employment, construction, real estate, and related disputes. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Take and defend depositions. Draft and respond to discovery requests. Assist with trial preparation and provide trial support. Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. Attend court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and site inspections. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience. Experience handling multiple phases of litigation. Familiarity with state and federal court procedures preferred. Ability to travel locally as required. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications Active license to practice law in California.
