Help Desk / IT Support Technician We are looking for a Help Desk / IT Support Technician to join a growing technical support team. This position will provide a mix of remote and onsite support to end users, helping troubleshoot hardware, software, access, and general IT issues. This is a great opportunity for someone with help desk, desktop support, or field IT experience who enjoys working directly with users. Responsibilities Provide remote and onsite technical support to end users Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, and Windows-related issues Work and resolve incoming support tickets Assist with password resets and user access issues Support Microsoft Office 365 applications Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and connectivity problems Occasionally travel to nearby field locations to provide onsite IT support Desired Experience Help Desk, Desktop Support, Field Technician, or End User Support experience Windows troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365 Ticketing systems Password resets and account support Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable providing both remote and hands-on technical support Additional Information 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity Combination of help desk and field support Occasional travel to remote work sites may be required Great opportunity for someone looking to grow their IT support experience What Helps You Stand Out Candidates with hands-on troubleshooting experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in both office and field environments are encouraged to apply. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrington, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
