Project Manager - High-End & Technical Tenant Improvement Projects $140000 - $180000 per year | Cupertino, CA | On-site | Permanent Job Details Why join us? 140-180k Base Salary Annual Bonus (~10% range) Profit Sharing Bonus Complete Healthcare Benefits 401K (w/ 50% match!) 3 Weeks PTO Car Allowance & Gas Card Responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications and company standards. Develop comprehensive project schedules using Microsoft Project or similar project management software to track progress and deadlines. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and workflow across all project phases. Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts thoroughly to understand project scope and technical requirements. Manage procurement processes including construction estimating, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations to optimize costs and resources. Oversee construction site activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and environmental regulations. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for document control, RFIs (Requests for Information), change orders, and daily reports. Monitor project budgets and timelines diligently; implement corrective actions as needed to mitigate delays or cost overruns. Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, resolve issues promptly, and maintain accurate records of work performed. Facilitate effective project coordination by managing schedules, resources, and communication among all stakeholders. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, Civil 3D models, and other technical drawings to guide construction activities accurately. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations by reviewing contracts thoroughly and managing change orders efficiently. Promote a safety-first culture by enforcing safety protocols during all phases of construction work. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field of study. 5+ years of commercial construction experience at a General Contractor. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management in the Construction industry. Prior experience with commercial tenant improvement projects (research and development, advanced technology, healthcare, and/or light industrial project experience strongly preferred). Able to develop accurate project estimates and pricing reports. Experience in Estimating and Field Engineering. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management Software (Procore), Estimating Software (Bluebeam), and Scheduling Software (MS Project). Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
