We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing sales strategies, building high-performing teams, and achieving ambitious sales targets. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and exceptional relationship-building skills.

Compensation:

$140,000 - $172,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue goals.

• Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team to maximize performance.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

• Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.

• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to support business objectives.

• Forecast sales trends and develop plans to address market changes.

• Recruit, train, and develop top sales talent.

• Manage budgets, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.

Position requires travel:

• Must be willing and able to travel locally, regionally, and occasionally overnight as business needs require.

• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight and interstate travel.

Qualifications:

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales objectives.

• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.

• Ability to develop strategic plans and execute effectively.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

• 7+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree (MBA) preferred.

• Experience in the Medium Voltage Distribution Market (Utility Market is a must)

• Established network within the Utility industry (PG&E, LADWP, SDG&E...)

• Managing independent Sales Representative Organizations.
