Seasonal Roles

Hiring for seasonal roles opens in January each year for roles that run from May or June through October. Summer-only positions are available as well. Positions include professional trail crew members or leaders and backcountry caretakers. Experience or interest in trail building, construction, carpentry, environmental stewardship, or environmental education is preferred but not required.

Full-time and Part-time Roles:

GMC employs about 12 fulltime, yearround employees to run the programs, administration, and operation of the Green Mountain Club. Current full-time and part-time roles will be posted below. All roles are based in our Waterbury Center, VT offices and operate in a flexible, hybrid capacity.
