Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT)
An opportunity is available for a Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care in an acute care environment. The role requires working independently with pediatric patients and supports their rehabilitation journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess pediatric patients.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide ongoing evaluation and adjustments to therapy as needed.
- Document patient progress using electronic health records, specifically Epic.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric physical therapy.
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius for local consideration.
Working Conditions
- Shift: Day shift, 5 consecutive days per week (Monday to Friday).
- Shift times are flexible within an 8-hour window from 07:30 AM to 06:00 PM.
- No on-call responsibilities are required.
- Facility may call off one shift every two weeks, but guaranteed hours may apply.
