Job Title: Manufacturing Project Manager (On-Site)
Location: Syracuse, NY
Job Type: Full-time, direct hire
Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000 annually depending on experience

About the Role:

A well-established, innovation-driven manufacturing organization is seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional product programs from early development/concept through R&D, and full production delivery. This role serves as the primary interface between customers and internal teams, ensuring projects are executed on schedule, within budget, and according to technical requirements. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with engineering, tooling, automation, production, quality, and commercial teams to drive successful outcomes, successful product launches, and high customer satisfaction in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead projects and programs from initiation through closeout, including pre-award development activities when applicable

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle

Define project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using formal project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project)

Monitor milestones, costs, risks, and performance metrics; provide regular status reporting

Proactively escalate issues and implement mitigation strategies

Coordinate cross-functional teams and external suppliers to meet technical and delivery objectives

Act as liaison between stakeholders, commercial teams, and technical personnel

Support new product introductions (NPI) and production ramp-up activities

Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned, best practices, and standardized processes
