Knowledge Manager

To support mission objectives, the part-time Knowledge Manager will develop and maintain enterprise knowledge assets that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency, primarily working remotely with occasional on-site visits in Raleigh, NC. Key responsibilities Develop and implement a long-term knowledge management roadmap aligned with strategic goals and service delivery objectives Identify, gather, and synthesize knowledge assets from various sources to improve service management and program outcomes Promote a culture of collaboration and shared learning across state agencies while ensuring the governance of knowledge assets Required qualifications Degree in Library and Information Science, Knowledge Management, Information Science, or a related field preferred; or equivalent experience Relevant certifications such as Knowledge-Centered Service (KCS), ITIL, or KM specialty certifications preferred Advanced skills in research, information analysis, and validation Experience in developing taxonomies and content classification strategies Strong customer service orientation with familiarity in public-sector service delivery best practices
