Job Title: Accounting Clerk Location: Hartsville, SC Employment: Temp (3 months) Industry: Packaging and Containers Manufacturing Compensation: $20.50/hr. Schedule: 40 hours/week - 1st shift About the Opportunity:

• Process and apply customer payments received through ACH, wire transfers, checks, credit cards, lockbox, and other payment methods.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, including unapplied cash, short payments, overpayments, and deductions.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams to obtain payment details and ensure accounts remain accurate and up to date.
• Assist with month-end activities, including account reconciliations, reporting, and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Support accounts receivable operations by monitoring payment trends, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar accounting software.

What Sets You Apart:

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 1+ years of accounts receivable, cash application, or accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and basic formulas.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
